...that makes having a dictionary to hand almost compulsary when reading his work
such is his
way with words that it even makes reviewers talk utter b****ks when discussing his work
for example:

Yes - I've read both of them too and enjoyed the former. Great Apes is fairly good too but he doesn't half show off.
