Heartland meet up - Manchester - October 2008

After Jo, Mrs S and myself chewing QB's ear last night, Quiffy has relented and will be happy to have a (sort of) Heartland meet in the UK this year.
As most of you know Quiffy DJ's at Manchester's (spit
) Sin City every month so we asked him if he was up to having the usual heartland reprobates coming over to Manchester and taking over his club.
So the date he agreed to was.....
Saturday 4th October 2008
Plenty of time to arrange Travelodge's etc and loads of time to save up for beer..
Now quiffy's worried that no-one will come as it's not in Leeds but has promised to show anyone the original Factory offices (as there a stones throw from sin city) and I'm sure that Planet Dave can show you his old haunts
so if your up for it (Sin City that is) then please post on this thread.
Cheers
Snowey

A pity this clashes with Killing Joke in London.

F*ck me! I don't know whether i'm more surprised about there being a meet in city of Mancunia*, or that Snowey's actually coming out without a gig being on!
*for non-UK-types, it's like Leeds, but significantly better!

Does this mean you and your better half will be coming out to play
You do realise that you will have to have more than a tenner in your pocket.
Rob, we were out drinking in Manc yesterday with our manc bodyguards, where were you??? No gig on either.
Oh and for the non-UK-types Manchester is a dump but as I don't think QB will play in Birkenhead, Manchester it has to be...lol

That's because he knows that the good people of Heartland don't want their cars up on bricks!

Hmmm, I'll see what I can do
(though much, much nearer to the actual date) There are flights straight from ANR to Manchester if I'm not mistaken. Always wanted to try those out
