Fencing

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

These recent winds require me to spend my enforced holidays repairing B&Qs finest joinery panels. DIY's not my strenght. All suggestions welcome. Assuming I'm up in time to take delivery. Sod it, I'm of to surf for porn...

You'll want to use pressure-treated lumber to resist rot and insect infestation.

If you're surfing pron then you'll want to maintain firm pressure on your wood otherwise it's liable to rot and go soft, yes. And if you're not careful zipping up you're liable to get insect infestation in the form of catching it in your flies.

Which is all well and good, but where does the pressure treated lumber come in?

On second thoughts....

I can heartily recommend that you don't get the brushwood fencing on a roll. The lovely fence I erected a couple of weeks ago is now in bits all over the front garden.

The point of this thread was to provide me with excuses not to fix my fencing while the rain and wind prevailed. You failed.
