As I said, this was a total accident - If I was blocked out on R8 that was rather sad, but hey. I never tried to break any rules. What else was I supposed to do? I asked for a new password, and it never came ... Not being paranoid I did this, as many of you would too. The 'disguise' lasted all of a few minutes, and look at the reaction. Boy oh Boy, Freud would have a field day here ... However, when the mod gets here he/she will doubtless wield his/her axe or just laugh - We shall see. I'm prepared to see the funny side of it if you all will too? If not, so be it.

So creating a second HL account (with a, presumably, deliberately false date of birth) is your idea of a "joke". No matter how light-hearted you intended it to be, the fact that you would enjoy such an act of deception speaks volumes about your character.

He's hardly the first though, is he Steven? He wouldn't hold the record for Most Alter Egos by a long chalk... yet for some bizarre reason other people who do this - and who have had hours of personal fun entertaining themselves pretending to be any number of other folk - get a great deal of respect on HL. Go figure

so what's happened to the reactiv8 account? i dont recall getting an email about him having any issues with it and users can reset lost passwords themselves...

i understand why people might create a 2nd account if there's an issue with their 1st, but there's usually something we can do to address that issue beforehand...
