Desperately Seeking - Non SOM Grail-like CDs

by Pursued By Trees
I just tracked down one of mine after several years of searching: His Name Is Alive's elusive (and misleadingly titled) 'Radio LP' on CD.

Still on the lookout for:

The Jazz Butcher 'In Bath Of Bacon'
The Snapdragons 'The Eternal In A Moment'

... and probably one or two other things I've been looking for so long that I can't immediately recall them.

Yours?

UK Decay back catalog. Never been released on CD, and there's so much fantastic stuff in there it's a shame.

I have the dvd, but not sure if it's the best transfer I've seen.
Does yours have menus?
But I still really want to find an AUD audio of it.

The moon upstairs, Guarding the golden apple. Think that might be a good album, but I never even bumped into an evaluation copy :(

Sleep, Dopesmoker. The actual one-track version of Jerusalem, wouldn't mind bumping onto that!

But then again, I've not really been looking much lately :-)

I don't go rooting through record emporiums any more, haven't for decades actually. Last goodies I turned up were:
It's Immaterial ~ A Gigantic Raft in the Philippines 12" (new)
Michael Nyman ~ A Zed and Two Noughts (you couldn't find anyone who knew who Nyman was of a record shop in Glass~gow c.1987, it took a businnes trip to Londres and His Master's Vibes on Oxford St. for it to turn up)

I'd like to find a Crowforce CD or anything by NASA if anyone can help...

Loads!

Two by Elvis Costello. The US release of Kojak Variety. 250 of these came with an extra track and a certificate of congratulations.

Also, ten copies of his recent The Best Of The First 10 Years CD came with a free second CD of home demos. NBone of these are even known to have surfaced yet.

The US wooden box versions of Fish's Pigpen's Birthday and For Whom The Bells Toll.

Both of the withdrawn CDs of Adam Ant's Beautiful Dream. only seven of CD1 are known to have survived and 3 of CD2. The third one surfaced a couple of years ago and sold on eBay for about £1400 if I recall.

Any UK format of Kate Bush's withdrawn Eat The Music. Only 17 7" singles known to exist, usually sell for £1500. No confirmed copies of the CD or 12"pd as yet.

Obviously I need to obtain these last two at a fraction of the going rate!

Tin box promos of Mike Oldfield's The Songs Of Distant Earth and Music Of The Spheres.

And, not a CD, but Another Pretty Face's I'm Sorry That I Beat You... cassette - both editions: one with fanzine, one without (different coloured inlays).

So now you all know what to get me for Christmas. :D

As far as tunes go, this is the only "Sensoria" that I know of...

ETA: For super-obscure stuff, you might try GEMM, if you haven't already.

There's also a copy listed on Musicstack.com for $21

Not sure about a 1-track version of Sleep - Jerusalem but both sites list copies of this too.
