I was in Rome with Marco & we went to a restaurant where the head waiter was really into Brit pap/ indie or whatever it's called these days.
He adored Pete Doherty & Marco, bold as brass, stated that the only reason Pete Doherty was famous was because he fcuked Kate Moss.

Have you never heard of The Libertines? Seriously good band, such a wasted opportunity. Waaay before he got involved with the talent vacuum that is Kate Moss and the whole Primrose Hill mob, and before the tabloids started following his every move. I still believe people should form their own opinion of Mr Doherty based upon his musical output rather than the complete bullshit they read in their daily comics or pick up from word of mouth. He had a genuine talent.
