I have seen the red gatefold of Silence is platinum go for €780 on Ebay a few years ago.
But popsike tells me the highest price was GBP880 although not for boot but for the black WEA box.

What about the gatefold Last Magician Of Rational Thought? Only 26 numbered/lettered copies?

One thing to keep in mind here...$408.00 USD may seem a high price but depending on where the winner is from, it may be alot less. For someone in the UK, it's roughly 204.00GBP and for someone paying in euros, it's probably about 310,00 euro. The seller is registered in the UK, so it looks like he/she is making things easier for people on his side of the world by doing the listings in USD. A few months back I saw a boot go for over 600.00USD...I think it was The Fianl Floorshow, but am not positive. So this one was cheap in comparison!

Never saw one of those traded on Ebay or on any other trading platform (like GEMM,...). Most copies never left Italy as far as I know and personally it took me quite some years to find somebody who had a copy and was willing to sell (my copy is lettered Q).

Back cover says songs (except one) were recorded on their 1985 tour. As Nine While Nine was played live only a few times (or maybe only once?), I assume the version on Armageddon is from the gig in Newcastle on 13 March 1985 (as well as Ghostrider). Maybe it is the same source as was used for the Disguised in Black lp/cd which contains the full Newcastle gig.

Err, yes, i managed 13 (5 in Europe with the Wife) and all the UK dates , 8 I think. We cut down on essentials like food and proper beds. We had planned a couple more, but time and money put the end to that.

There is now a picture in the Sisters Imagebank. The back cover is the same as the regular version with a letter instead of a number and the gatefold is plain silver on the inside.
