Video Editing Software

I'm looking for some decent, but at the same time easy to use, video editing software.

Windows Movie Maker is good for small jobs but this is a slightly larger project so I need a more powerful program that won't crash if you're working with more than 5 minutes of video!

So, which would you lot recommend?

If you fancy partitioning your HDD to install Linux, or better still doing the same on a separate one to Dual-Boot, try this:~

Linux is much more stable than M$ Windoze - No BSOD to contend with ...

p.s. 'Capture' comes as standard with Totem Movie Player which is pre-installed with Mint Elyssa, but I expect you fancy something more ambitious, eh?! - This will involve some searching and then an app. install via Synaptic or Software Portal ... If you want, you can run Windozy applications in Linux with Wine, or Windoze itself within Linux ...

:urff: bah... open source hippies   ;)

"Easy to use" is a stretchy phrase. Every program claims a period of vocational adjustment. I do my video stuff with sony vegas - you can take a look insight the workflow if you visit this youtube channel and watch some tutorials.
