From their MySpace site;
THE CULT will publish a new album, that's a fact.
They have begun working on it and have plans on late summer 2009.
The band has also plans for celebrating their 25th anniversary... 13th January 1984 was the final name change to 'The Cult' so keep your eyes & ears open people

Well they were superb on the last tour.
