...I'm assuming we're first because Buffalo is a cheaper flight from the UK than NYC?

Who's going to be there? Hello???

Well, I am, of course. I can see the venue from my office. It's right across the street.
And a handful of my friends as well.

I'll be most interested in the "etc etc" part as usually, thank you in advance.

In the weeding section, I wrote...
Sisters in Buffalo NY 2008 is days away people...
I am getting prepared by listening to way too much Sisters!
Oh happy day, just thought I would say!
Mind you attending... I will be attempting to record...
and not rocking my mind out like the last time I saw them (the first time).
If you see me standing there looking bored...
I'm simply being happily "professional"...
and I like 'Black Russians'!

@
DrG So, in order not to ruin your attempts with blabla we will say Hi either before or after the gig. Good luck!
Very much looking forward to the gig, too. But not to the 20 hours it'll take us to get there....

A helpful hint for DrG: the last time I was there, the best sound in the venue was right in front of the main mixing board. It's in the center on the same level (it's an old theater) as the bars. Yes, plural, because Buffalo loves to drink.

As I thought...
Any news about an opening act? I hope there is. I liked when the Warlocks played with them!
Anyway, I'll be out and about for a day or two... more later.

Not that I know of for Buffalo. A brief look on the Hypernova (openers for the rest of the tour) Myspace seemed to indicate they don't join the tour until Halloween.

Mr. B has informed me that his binaural mics have a bit of of "buzz" problem.
He hopes to take care of that with some wire strippers and electrical tape.
Unless anyone else has a good set... they will be treated kindly and you will get them back, I promise.
Otherwise, we are all ready... except for actually being there yet!
BTW -- Does this tour have a name yet... or is simply the "Yet Another US Tour" tour?
EDIT -- I hope they still have a few STFU t-shirts... my wife wants one!

I may have mis-heard the guy... but I just called the Town Ballroom
and was told that
Bison is the opening act.
Who?
I'm just glad there is one as we will just be rolling into Buffalo around 7 PM!

OMFUG!
According to
this the punchline to
's favourite joke is "You can't wash your hands in a buffalo". I suspect that the a gig in Buffalo with Bison playing support may result in some amusing comment from the stage...
...maybe.
