Hey all

didn't know if anyone'd seen this, but Wes Borland's band Black Light Burns recently did a disc of covers called... Cover Your Heart (groan) Most of them are... less than stellar. However, I thought they did a fair job covering Lucretia, My Reflection. If you haven't heard it, you can listen to it on their MySpace page.

I've heard worse, which isn't saying much.

It would have been nice if he'd bothered to get the lyrics correct - there being quite a difference within the context of the song between the phrase "now as then" and "now and then". :|

To date, I've yet to hear a Sisters cover equal to the original, let alone better.

To borrow from my learned colleague James Blast:

Next!

PS
I do have a sense of humour, it just doesn't seem to be readily apparent today.

Not bad at all. More personality to it than the Alkaline Trio version.

What's Lucretia doing in A Forest?

Musically, I like their version. It works.

At least the band's name, which is all i intend to ever know about this band, is less than stellar.

I like it... Reminds me a bit of She Wants Revenge :innocent: but they did mix A Forest with Lucretia, it is quite obvious, isn't it? Still, prefer the original voice!!

i don't like it but at least it's not the same neogoth-sound on skateboards, popular at teenagers boring themselves by the shopping mall.

And same with She Wants Revenge, this band will fade.
