Not sure how many Polish TSOM fans are on heartland, but... A Polish tribute to TSOM "Sittin' in a bar for hours' has recently been released and on October 18/19 there will be a festival promoting this album - in Poznan/Poland with Night by Night (Ben's band) and Nozzle, which is Dave Blomberg's (ex-New Model Army) new project as headliners.
I've listened to the tribute and some versions are quite interesting, such as Ribbons (female singer which in places sounds like Madonna!), Dominion and... Detonation which sounds a bit like Iron Maiden! There are live versions of the covers too, which I think was not necessary, but the album is really beautifully released (leather cover etc)...

I still can't believe Dave Blomberg left NMA to play fulltime in his side-project-band Nozzle. But the new NMA axe-man is quite good as well though ...

i like lilith ribbons (...)
i thought/suspected that this one might be good, they were support to Night by Night and, even that i'm far from that kind of music now, i really liked it.

but to be fair it's hard to made a good cover, very few bands/musicians got enough skill and genius to doing it.
