Sisters in new set-list shock

Word is the forthcoming tour of the US and Europe will feature a new setlist including several tunes that haven't been played live in a long while and the possibly a completely new tune or two.

This came from a very reliable source close to the rehearsals so I don't doubt it.

From dominion, from Simon Wadsworth - many thanks for info:
Interesting news just in....

Ran into Chris last night and was asking about the upcoming gigs.
After much arm twisting and bribing with his favourite tipple he let slip
that the setlist for the US/European dates is going to include a bunch of
older songs that we won't have heard for a while - start the betting now.

There's also a possibility of the airing of a couple of new ones.

He was non committal on UK dates, just said very very unlikely this time
round.

Might have to rethink my plan to wait for the European dates and see if I
can get out to the US.

sw

Don't know if its acceptable to re-post items from Dominion here, sorry if it is not the done thing! Interesting post.

Looks like UK dates might not happen

With the Sisters we know everything is possible... but nothing truly surprising ever happens.
Keep an open mind but don't hold your breath. :P

I second the above with the addition of several hundred million more O's             I REALLY do not like the idea of having to go to Amsterdam alone but now I will have to if I want to see them and I DO :(

Hey, Islanders: There are aiports in Ol'Blightey and on the mainland as well. There's video evidence that at least elderly pilots know the way as well. There's the Eurostar and a cheap bus connection between Cologne and London. You'll be welcome here.
@Daddy Cool: Wasn't it time for a wee European tour/concerts in 09-thready? :D

You suffer from xenophobia and travelling fear.

Throw away your lager and take a bus to Laos, like all modern teenagers have done already and you will laugh next time about Amsterdam.

What do you expect? Gangbanging Frankie Goes To Hollywood-geeks who force you to smoke crack?!

It's not like a complete setlist overhaul, is it ? Some bands do that. :innocent:
Oh what the heck, I'm going to see the Sisters no matter what !

interesting news!

I want the whole Reptile House EP, Nine While Nine, No Time To Cry, Colours and actually More...

..and of course I want Floorshow to be added to the setlist but NOT without a dynamic bass player made of flesh and blood :?

Still no news about dates for Scandinavia, the comment about the lack of UK dates make me worried, maybe it's time for a little roadtrip, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Brussels looks tempting.

The whole Reptile House...YES!!! :notworthy:

The lack of UK dates IMO is caused by the fact is they want you to consider travelling to the places you mention.
Patience...

My 2 cents would be that the Astoria debacle doesn't really help neither the Sisters nor the promoters :?

There is always the right time for a roadtrip :D

Are the Brussels tickets on sale yet, btw?

Ah, the setlist: Kiss the carpet as opener, Amphetamine Logic and a new song thrown in, and I'm very satisified!
