THE JOAN OF ARC FAMILY need guitars ... London, UK

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Principally looking for a 2nd guitarist who can make atonal scuzz, with some other basic bits and bobs, to complete line up of The Joan Of Arc Family.

We use very very simple and hard repetitive bass over a classic drum machine backing, delayed, minimalistic and metallic guitars and sonorous cum histrionic vocals to attack and for danceable, dark effect.

Check www.myspace.com/thejoanofarcfamily , if in doubt(s), and / or www.returntotheeast.blogspot.com

Influences .. early Sisters, The March Violets, Xmal Deutschland, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Clair Obscur, Virgin Prunes, Nico, early Gene Loves Jezebel, The Birthday Party, The Cramps, early B-52's, The Danse Society, Siglo XX, Wire, Malaria!, Cindytalk, I'm So Hollow etc etc etc..

Get in touch with details...
