To me it occasionally sounds like they should have called their cover "Bluergh", as the singer pronounces "more" rather like that.
And I bet the guitarists can do better than that as well.
Overall, I find this is a pretty weak version.

As do you. I went to see him in Dallas some years ago, and was treated to a reduced-price set from the Popes. It seems that they had opted to drive to the gig from San Francisco, while Shane stayed in San Fran with his babysitter. I was told all of this by their merch guy. The problem, it seems, is that the babysitter also needs a babysitter, and neither one of them was allowed onto the flight to Dallas. They were both too drunk. He never showed, but the Popes played a great set.
