It's well enough known that the word "Amphetamine" was removed from the song title on the outer record sleeve only, at the record company's insistence. Von himself has always introduced it as "Amphetamine Logic", and the 2006 reissue has restored the full name. Even the slightly-less-boring FAQ confirms that the song's real name is "Amphetamine Logic". But a lot of folks still call it "Logic", which is bugging me right now (yeah, I'm at home with man-flu and bored). So is it just pure habit, or is there a personal preference for calling it "Logic"? Bored people wanna know!

You could have added In Fact I Mean....as the Japanese title not being sure there are HL-ers from that part of the world.

With for me - just cause that's how it was meant to be. But when referring to it I am guilty of just saying "Logic" cause it's less to type.

Somewhat off topic - for some reason I can't ever think of the song without remembering the intro for it, on the Disguised in Black boot: "This is for the students in the balcony - it's called Amphetamine Logic - it's about - logic" Always loved it.

i didn't even noticed that on re~masters/re~issued cover is "amphetamine".
anyway i said "no"

'logic' just for clarity & brevity - so, with amphetamines. i often refer to it as 'speed' or 'more speed' when i need to refer to it at all - like naming tracks for computer.
