I somehow missed this completely - apologies if it's been posted before:

Have to say, it looks pretty damn fine, and a fitting tribute to the man and his works.

:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :von: ;D

Out in the UK December 19.
Now I just have to find somewhere it's showing.

For those in doubt, read the passion, vitriol and black humour that is Fear & Loathing On The Campaign Trail '72.
How he loved to hate Nixon.

Pre F&L In LV, is the quality journalism of Hells Angels.
It might be dated now, but in 1968 it was ground breaking stuff.

Yeah, HST was long past his best by the time he went, but there's a very good reason that the words "Long live gonzoid amphetamine filth" are scratched into the runout groove on the original TOL 12".

He may have meant nothing to you (which is fair enough) but my world was definitely a poorer place for his passing. :(

I saw it at the flicks a few weeks back. An interesting insight with a few very amusing anecdotes, especially from Ralph Steadman.
All in all though, I came away feeling it had only scratched the surface despite it's run time.

I saw it maybe a year ago? I couldn't put my finger on what dissatisfied me at the time, but I think you've summed it up nicely.
