I know that this is a Sisters forum but I was wondering if any one out there knew the lyrics to the Lorries "Generation" as i'm covering the damn song but can't seem to find the lyrics anywhere, so I'm mumbling much of the words and it's bloody tedious. Anyone to help would be appreciated.

I've also hunted for Lorries lyrics. Some of them are on their site but I don't think Generation is.

I'll give it a go in a minute

GENERATION:

Let the speakers crackle and burn,
Let the speakers crackle and burn.

...
Our nation, our nation in chains.

And they're holding the ... with the power to gain our souls.

But they say nothing
And I hear nothing for me.

So let the speakers crackle and burn,
Let the speakers crackle and burn.

Holding me down with a ... to my head,
Tearing me a- tearing me apart.

And they're breaking our backs as they search for the gaps in our soul/in us all.

But I hear nothing
And they say nothing to me.

Generation,
Generation,
Generation,
Generation,
Generate.
