Almost every patch for every program ever invented (not just MS) is for exactly this. Must be a slow news day.

BLEUGH. Bigger threat to people's PCs is downloading software cracks, bit torrent clients, etc, etc., all completely capable of taking over your PC.

I don't think so, it was so serious that M$ released a patch out of their regular updates cycle.
