Chris & Ben use ENGL amplification

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

spotted this on the sisters' live dates page:

Chris Catalyst and Ben Christo use Image amplification

the ENGL logo is a link to the ENGL website, which if you have a dig around it yields this page:

http://www.engl-amps.com/index3.html

using the drop-down on the right, have a look at Professionals --> number 6:

BEN CHRISTO / THE SISTERS OF MERCY

"Avenging ENGL: Unassailable power and versatility."
no sign of chris on there though...

As a guitar gear nerd, I was rather amused to see Ben and Chris onstage with those ENGLs, as I usually associate them (the amps, not Ben and Chris) with death metallers. ;D
