It's like Liverpool but smaller. Same ratio of 'trackie' bottoms to jeans though.

I might try and do this one as I can keep the missus happy with a visit to the outlaws at the same time. :D

Are you on drugs??

Birkenhead is gods chosen. No gang warfare on this side of the river.

Hom, if your going give us a shout and I'll take you to gods chosen football club...i.e. Tranmere Rovers :D

I must confess I would like to go and pay my respects to the hallowed turf. ;D The way Derby are going - we'll be playing them next season anyway.

WTF!!! Are YOU on drugs, which coming from Birkenhead..or should that be Bag-in-head, is more than likely 'Yes'.

Birkenhead is like a time warp of Liverpool from yester year. Full of people who gaze over the Mersey wishing and dreaming that they lived in the Big City and not have to settle for second best and having to come to terms with bordering with Wales!.

Nothing good has ever come out of Birkenhead except the East bound carrigeway of the Queensway tunnel. Merseyrail's Liverpool bound tracks and the M53. Oh and maybe Snowey!

 :P

As for going to see a good footie team, there's only one real team on Merseyside, the People's club - Everton F.C ,Goodison Park can even be seen from Wallasey ! With Anal field nowhere in sight

All fair and just Mr H.C, but as I stated nothing good comes out - these people left Birkenhead to either further their career or find their true love. Nothing stays in Birkenhead worth it's salt - and no one certainly GOES to enlighten their lives there!!

But while we on the trail of things that have indeed left that god forsaken place to capture and enthrawl the world.. we must add to the list.

Rosetta Stone the finest goth band to come out of ..well anywhere North of London and West of Leeds.

and the true comedic genius that is..

LEONARD ROSSITER.. A GOD AMONGST MEN AND A TRUE EVERTONIAN !!

* John Peel was actually from Heswall, but we won't split hairs on the man who gave Crispy Ambulance and the Ramones to the world
