Yup. Dig Lazarus Dig!!!was pretty good though, but even that had some filler. A lot of people loved Abbatoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus, but it didn't do anything for me.

Always preferred the Birthday Party to the Bad Seeds, but all the same, sad to see one of the great original partnerships dissolve. Even though I did get the sense that Mick was being increasingly sidelined for the last good while.

Exactly my opinion about Abbatoir Blues....... It just does' n't seem quite right.

I still think their recent stuff stands up to scrutiny though. Listened to Dig Lazarus Dig right the way through on my way back up on the train from London, which is a real rarity for me as I am an incurable track-skipper...
