I am truely shocked and numb at the same time.
I met Lux and Ivy twice over the last 6 years and told them that they had been a soundtrack to my life.
I really cannot say much more only stay sick mate and thanks for the memories and outfits.

That's a floored by pop moment.
I'm truly sad that half of one of the last couple who genuinely did what they wanted and didn't give a flying.. is gone.
No butter or car insurance .,they just loved the music ,what is Ms Ivy going to do?
Saw them twice years ago and they were brilliant both occassions.
A wierd f***ed generation is passing on, John Martyn , Lux Interior, Ken Outram the out of control organ player at our local tea dances, all gone in a week.
What are we being left with?
People who live and breathe music are on their way out. Charlatans and fast buck merchants survive.....
the natives are restless...............

Oh man. I was hoping it was just something about January...but it looks like it's gonna be a bad year. My misspent youth is dying all around me
Rave on, Lux...
(Somebody at Billboard needs to check their math, though - how one could be born in 1946 and die in 2009 at 52 puzzles me somewhat...)

OMG!!
Sad.
He was a mentalist.
I remember seeing them on the Date With Elvis tour in Brighton.
I was with a friend who had the driest sense of humour I've ever come across.
For the encore, Lux crawled onto the stage & stuck the mic into a plastic beer glass & proceeded to smash it up.
The noise out of the PA stacks was awful.
After a minute or two of the cracking plastic noise at eardrum shattering levels, my friend turned to me & said, "I think this is a new one".
RIP.

First Ron Asheton & now Lux
Imagine the jamming sessions they're having right now.
Saw the Cramps a good few times over the years, every show a stormer.

R.I.P. Lux will be sadly missed. I loved the first few Cramps albums. A brilliant band, and a sad loss to music.

As an old friend put it, he's not really dead: he's un-undead.
