cracking game. england did very well considering they were playing with 14 for an hour.

I'm half english half welsh so I support england except when it's eng v wales.

RL? wasn't it invented so miners could have a good punchup at the end of the working week?

I first read that (honestly) as:

"Get back to chewing leeks and pulling referees off"

That would also probably work.....

I always think that Rugby Football (both codes) is missing something fundamental about its name...

I used to see a girl from Rugby..fine woman, used to go to Rock City in Nottingham.. Helen. awwwww..happy days.

Oh the game? If I wanna see 22 guys rucking and punching each other for the enjoyment of others I'll go to Liverpool city center on a Saturday night!

It's a bloody shame, isn't it? Time was we knew how to play a running game, but since Jonny "Golden Bollock" Wilkinson started fannying about everyone seems to think that picking the ball up is old hat. Which explains why we get trounced regularly by 2nd string teams.
