The closest to "finished" was the version done in Macromedia Director (now Adobe Director IIRC). I've lost that software (it was on the computer at my old job) so I decided to start again doing it in Python. Only thing is, this involves actually learning python...

The Spectrum had two major advantages: It was far easier to program (BASIC or machine code) and it was about half the price of the C64.

Not strictly Spectrum, but feck it there's loads of games to download and play for free while you hide from the boss at work here
