and how likely does he think that is?

I'd work with both of them, but only if they turn up at my door and buy the beer.

I find that very strange... and it is not at all likely to happen!
When in 1994 I asked for his ( Hussey ) autograph ( shame on me, I know ) he ( and the rest of the band ) started to mock me just because I was wearing a Sisters t-shirt. It was The m*****n's concert in 7th May ( Parque de Exposições de Gaia ).
I keep saying Jihad!
Doctoravalanche can you show us somehow that interview?

Hussey admits his career is on the skids then?
I had a face on the mirror
I had a hand on the gun
I had a place in the sun and a ticket to Syria

It was said that on his solo tour he played in some pubs to crowds of about 100 peeps.silentNate wrote:Hussey admits his career is on the skids then?
-surely a nice thing for the audience, a private athmosphere like that 'n all..
But "career"?
With good guitarists available by the pound from small bands I doubt it's necessary to get a troublemaker back in the team.

There's not many available as good or as experienced Wayne and as for being a 'trouble maker' I think Eldritch makes enough trouble for himself by modelling his man-management skills on that of Mark E. Mr. That Guitarist who disintegrated everything? No, please not again.
Is there anything he did not disintigrate? Sisters, m*****n, Hussey (Solo) Hussey and Band?
No, never again!

You know this thread was quite funny.................................once

He can't be serious. On his acoustic solo tour last year he really insulted Andrew, and probably not because he likes him. He said things like "the Sisters are crap" and "he needs me more than I need him".
He definately know how Andrew's answer would sound like, as already said here.

Hussey has always struck me as a conceited little prick. He's OBVIOUSLY exceedingly jealous of Andrew's lyrical ability, so much so he attempts to copy his allusive, cerebral style. But fails. Badly. It's clear he only has the most tenous grasp of the things he alludes to, and the result in an inconsistent mess of half-baked concepts. And of course he lacks the wordplay dexterity Von exhibits - not something you can just learn overnight. This wouldn't be so bad, but it's the fact that in his lyrics he tries to write about things he clears doesn't really 'get'. I actually can't listen to most of the M*****N's work, because of this.
I concede he's a good guitarist though.

Personally if it were to happen and some good material resulted from it then great. In the end it's the material that matters and not the personnel.

Read this with much amusement as Mr Hussey has kept up with recording new material and as we know The Girls are a little-cough-slack in this department.
At the HOB Sisters show in Orlando-5yrs ago I think-the place was sold out however when The m*****n played there supported by Gene Loves Jezebel and Mike Peters, there were maybe 100 people there and it was embarrassing to say the least!!!!
Mind you, Wayne played a snippet of Alice in one of the songs.

Ummm - for someone who only wrote 5 or 6 (released) tracks for the band, I'd be a little underwhelmed if Hussmonster were to work with Von again. Gary or Craig on the other hand would be something worth celebrating.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Other than Gary that would be more than any of the other guitarists over the past 25 years, is it not?mh wrote:Ummm - for someone who only wrote 5 or 6 (released) tracks for the band,
