Your own intimate SISTERS gig

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

If enough people register and bid then this website approaches the band and makes an offer, there are a few slight drawbacks, their only success seems to have been the Blow Monkeys and that Eldritch would probably p*ss himself laughing.

Have a look: http://www.owngig.com/

oh and if you do a search for "sisters of mercy" you may not get what you want or maybe you will :!: :!:

Performing nuns! What, do they come to your house and bash your knuckles with a ruler?

But if you search for The Sisters Of Mercy, like you know you ought, you'll be just fine...

Which would almost make it worthwhile... :innocent:

Didn't the Sisters once play in someones living room? Anyone know who the lucky person was?

Thanks for noticing our site even if you revealed a rather embarrasing bug! It should be fixed now.

Not sure if we could put on a gig in someone's living room but I'd still encoruage you to register your interest in a gig on site - doesn't cost anything to do so.

BTW, we're talking to a lot of artists (we've not even been around for a year yet), and we expect to be putting some other acts on very soon.

Anyway if you have any questions then either reply on this thread or PM me.

Certainly true! IIRC she made two to three posts about it.
