Q.: What is Gothic Rock today? Is it alive or you feel the last of your kind?
A.: "The Sisters Of Mercy" do not belong to any scene and especially in one that is created in journalists minds, that tried to categorize as the same because they weared the same fashion clothes for a two weeks period back in 1985.
Q.: But at the same time you deny every connection with the Goth culture, your fans thinks you as the "Fathers of Gothic Rock". What is your thoughts about "Musical categoriezation"?
That the journalists that make such categorizations are idiots that care only to sell advertising space in their magazines instead of being cool and subversive.
Q.: How did you survive by having only three studio records and releases as your assets?
A.: By having, always, something interesting to say, by bein all the time substantial interest and by bein more interesting, for example than four skinny white boys that the Music Media around the world flatters all the time. It is more interesting now, that we can play to such different audience from children to old people.

Q.: Do you believe that a Group will appear soon in these days, that will shake things up in the Rock Music, like you did back in decade of 80's?
A.: Nope, i don't have any hope for this to happen today.
Q.: Are you afraid that the economical crisis might affect you record sales or concert tickets?
A.: We will continue to do what we are doing like always, no matter what would happen...
Q.: What do you plan to play in Athens?
A.: A mixture of old hits and some new songs that we have never played before in Greece. We like Greece very much, it is a warm and beautiful country and we are ready to have fun and dance there.
....
that's all my fellow heartlanders
Hope you enjoy it and see you in the concerts

Q.: But at the same time you deny every connection with the Goth culture, your fans thinks you as the "Fathers of Gothic Rock".
What fans? Those who register here out of the blue in order to complain about the poor quality of a Sisters gig they saw the day before?
Thanks for the translation.
