i know he was famous for much more but i'll always remember him for the meaty morsels dogfood ad with his expression-a-like bloodhound (not a diss- just sticks in my head from being a kid.)

Sadly missed. His voice seemed a constant fixture of my Mum listening to radio 4 back in the day.
