Some good news :D
THE WONDER STUFF + THE MEN THEY COULDN'T HANG

FRIDAY 15TH MAY: O2 Academy Leeds

The Wonder Stuff head out on tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their epic debut album and The Men They Couldn't Hang join them to celebrate 25 years raising hope, hackles and hellfire! Hear 'The Eight Legged Groove Machine' performed live in its entirety alongside classic tracks and rarities.

Doors: 7pm
There is going to be an official aftershow party in the club space underneath the main gig hall after the Leeds gig.

Starts after the Stuffies have finished (approx 11pm) and finishes approx 2am.

Free admission.

Music will be 80s/90s indie & alternative with lashings of general Brummy crazyness (with request-friendly DJs).

DJs are Quiff Boy (Heartland/Sin City Manchester) and Phono Paul (Leeds' legendary Le Phonographique, Black Sheep & Friday Flock)

I never oculd get into them. And the Nicky Fairbairn suit didn't help at all :urff: To be fair, Miles Hunt seems like a very nice person but his music just leaves me cold. Too indie happy for my liking.

Last time I saw them was at the Hollywood Palladium in 1990, supporting The Mish (with Not-As-Fat-Then Bob popping in and out)...

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the after party due to having another event on.
