Grooving In Green (ex-Children On Stun) + Legion - 5th June

Yes, it's another "Heartland-friendly" gig..!
Grooving In Green (ex-Children On Stun) + Legion
Friday 5th June 2009
Doors 7:30pm, first band onstage 8pm, clubnight from 10pm
£4adv which includes entry to Friday Flock!
Grooving In Green features original Children On Stun members Pete and Si, both of whom consider the band to be a continuation of the Overland era of Stun. Now joined on vocals by Tron (ex Solemn Novena), their live set is made up of Stun classics (up to and including Overland) and new material in the same spirit.
Legion are fast becoming Leeds most notorious goth band. Having accidently fallen through a rift in the timespace continuum, Legion left their native 1984 and found themselves exiles in People's Republic at the wrong end of the 21st Century. Expect smoke machines, drum machines and amphetamines!
-|=|-|=|-|=|-|=|-|=|-|=|-
The gig is followed by "Friday Flock", the irreverent Phono night, featuring the same request-friendly DJing you know from both 'Oblivion' at Le Phonographique and the legendary long-running Sunday Club/Black Sheep.
Expect all your favourite goth, industrial, 80s, punk and new wave tunes, not to mention plenty of that bizarre stuff you only ever heard down the Phono!
Flock starts 10pm, only £3 before 11pm!
