...which doesn't sound like suicide, frankly. Sounds more like he either pulled a Michael Hutchence, or was engaged in something dicey with a local professional who wasn't very. Or had other ends in mind. :|

Whatever, Kung Fu was a significant icon of my early adulthood. And I loved Kill Bill as well. Damn. :(

My guess is that the police in Thailand were trying to make it sound like suicide because that would make it easier on them. His career was on the upswing again, he was actually there shooting a film, and both family and friends have said emphatically that he was not suicidal.

Admittedly, the truly suicidal can be really good at not sending out the signals, because they want to succeed, but...mmm. It just doesn't compute with what's known about him. Something's fishy...

Putting aside there's probably no such thing as a good way to die...

Being strangled while "beating my meat" vs shark attack or burning alive.

Call me kinky, but I know which one I'd go for!

His new film was going to be called "Stretch"... coincidence, I don't think so.

I had no idea that he was dead until today... I read the news
regarding the auto-erotic thing and must agree. Poor bastard...
I hope he at least had fun before he went. :innocent:

Anyway... it was also odd that I happened to watch Death Race 2000
Saturday night... without knowing that ol' Frankenstein had passed.

RIP Grasshopper... you have entertained us for many years. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
