All three JOK albums are now available to download from iTunes and Amazon. To celebrate the digital release of JOK the band will be playing the following dates:

It's a (add expletives here) tourette:

July 09th: The Bull & Gate, Kentish Town, London
July 10th: The Cardigan Arms, Leeds
July 11th: Bar 1:22, Huddersfield.

For those missing the link:

The brainchild of Dave Tomlinson ([X]-CNN & Tinstar), Jok was an outlet for his quirky & subversive musings whilst running a parallel musical life. Slowly JOK has become a full-blown group/gang featuring Tim Bricheno (All About Eve, The Sisters of Mercy) & Kieran Heneghan (Frogs of War) with Tony Kiley (Blow Monkeys).

we loved X-CNN saw them a several times (I still have a Young Stupid & White tee shirt somewhere but people would sue me under the trades descriptions act if I wore it ...). Gaz got accused of being the singer in Rock City, by some bloke. The bloke was insistant that Gaz was the singer until 20 mins later when still pointing at Gaz accusingly, the band came on without 'Gaz'

How we roared. I think I'll dig out the cd and have it as 'tomorrow's going to work' cd.
