bless, if you live in manchester you can see that ever couple of weeks
likewise with a mike joyce dj set
and if you can spare the price of a taxi, a pork pie and half a pint of mild you can get hooky to come out for a pint with you
manchester is quite handy like that
we saw johnny marr at the pictures a while back as well. he was sat on the row in front of us with his kids

I won't be there...
Almost all bands on the bill I have seen a gazillion times before, most of them even this year.
But the most important point is that Studio Brussel is one of the main sponsors, the very same Studio Brussel that not even THAT long ago took the p*ss with all these bands, Front 242 their main target.
And now they want to jump on the 80s revival bandwagon, sponsoring the bands they laughed at some years ago.
No fanks.
The price ain't much for that event, that's true, and you know, actually this is fun for people that lived in the eighties but stopped going to electro-gothic fests as soon as they got to their senses and started a family

I couldn't have said it better myself.
I still don't get the lineup, all those bands are headliners on other smaller (honest) festivals, this is a no risk easy profit gig by some of the largest sponsers in this area.
the only thing I wanted to see are the Furs because I haven't seen them yet while they are one of my favorit bands.
I'll get another chance some other day
