Aw man! 
Breakfast club is a bit too preachy IMO (and the ending where they "pretty up" the weird girl sucks big-time), but Weird Science rocks. And Uncle Buck is awesome.

Loved Sixteen Candles whilst though I have huge problems with the endings to Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink they remain as fond memories to me. A sad lose to those of a certain age.

It may have been Harry D Stantton worst role but he got the attention of a whole new generation of kids. I love the man, I'm glad he was in it. I didn't know him before. I didn´t know Ottis Redding come to think of it before Pretty in Pink. I am showing my age... as his films were all over cable TV back when it was
cheap and I was only 10 years old.

Duckie was supposed to get the girl at the end of PinP-it was all a bit last minute that the rich prick did indeed get the girl.

RIP mista Hughes.I've seen some of his films (Weird Science! Ferris Bueller! Breakfast Club! Planes, Trains & Automobiles!) so many times in my younger days... the world just isn't the same without him.
