Let me take you back in time when Legends tell of a great mere and before that when there was just a mire moor. Not any usual moor for this was home to a tribe of Tranys. Lipstick wearing hand-bag wielding ferocious ladeemen with great big chests.
A lot of danger and deviance was spoken of, even said that only the grass grew straight. Their ranks were swelled by a covenant with a coven of lesbian witches from the neighbouring Lesahowse, who roamed the shores of these parts. Also because of their high-heeled irrigation techniques they grew rich and decadent. The legend tells of a great weekend of carousing and debauchery, people came all over the place until not a single men was saved from the sea that drowned everybody, creating the salty mere.
There's a special parade commemorates the occassion. Balls Road East, strsight up Harrisons Drive.
