My girlfriend had a mad crush on him, and still I thought he was a pleasant chap.

although "Dirty Dancing" before Point Break was played over and over and over in the house I was living in....should have turned me off!

I'll probably forever think of him as the quintessential "Mr Chick Flick" on account of Dirty Dancing and Ghost. Growing up in the 80s, at one point it seemed almost impossible to escape from the guy, but it can't be denied that he was something of a cultural icon.
