7 inch prices

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

There seems to be a resurgence in the price of 7 inch boots right now alongside the LP's.

I've been tracking a few on Ebay over the last few weeks/days...

Prices for things like Floorshow and Razor Smiles certainly seem to be on the up!

The prices they went for were out of the ordinary, the seller should be very happy.

Just added some new prices to my website sistersbootlegs.de:

...yes, there is a tendency for bootleg single prices from about 15 Euro in 2006 to 20 Euro in 2008 up to 30 Euro for some not so common items in 2010.

...but common bootlegs like "Good Things +2" are still available for less than 15 Euro

...and not everybody will pay prices that are 50 percent over the average price (EBAY user "cybervamps" is offering lots of Sisters stuff for prices that nobody will pay)

...prices may vary even within a short time:
"Unofficial theme to Angel Heart" 02/2008 40 Euro, 05/2008 22 Euro
"The End" 07/2009 34 Euro, 08/2009 18 Euro

I bought my "Razor Smiles" for less than 10 Euro two years ago...
...and with a little patience you will get one for about 20 Euro within a year...

Agreed on the more common ones appearing regularly, I mentioned Floorshow and Razor Smiles as I've been trying to pick up one of each for use in a trade for a while, although they do appear from time to time they seem to be getting more, not less expensive.

Speaking of Razor Smiles for a moment, was this made by the Palazzograssi people? and does anyone know how many were pressed and in what colours?

thanks

Razor Smiles:

black, green and red vinyl together about 1000 (estimated)

Cover says: Crack Down

Label: KROL

Quite sure that it's not from Palazzograssi

Wow, Razor Smiles on black vinyl? Never seen it. So is that the third pressing then?

It appears to be made by the same people who made the second pressing of Floorshow EP (catalog# on labels is KROL 3212 on Razor Smiles, and KROL 3213 on Floorshow). Judging by the content and the cheap sleeve I doubt it was made by the Palazzograssi people

This was why I asked as I've been told that the Palazzograssi people did the reissue of the Floorshow ep - which looks fairly obvious now when you consider the cover variations and numbering etc.

As noted above the KROL label links them together?

Razor Smiles is not a Palazzograssi release. The booklet of the CD "Unmarked door" provides a fairly good overview of all early Palazograssi releases.

I know that - my contention was that Razor Smiles was released by the same people, for whatever reason they chose not to use the Palazzograssi imprint....

I see, didn't know about this.

Yes, based on the KROL catalog numbers I assume both releases were made by the same people.

Damn, £51.51 for FLOORSHOW (2nd issue) - not even a special sleeve one.

as always:

If you have it, the worth of it is down. If you don´t have it but want it ....prices rise sometimes.

Think the last of this was 44 ... :innocent:

That´s fun like the hunting on the dax or dowjones...

You're right, we know gold is seen as a "safe haven" in times of uncertainty, maybe we should add Sisters vinyl to the list as well!

Blue Floorshow is very rare? Like the red and the yellow ones?

Ah, one day

Not a special sleeve one but an outnumbered copy (> 1,000) and these tend to be quite rare as well :innocent:

The blue and yellow sleeves usually aren't that rare but didn't appear on Ebay for quite some time.

The red sleeve version is rare, only very few copies (less than 50) exist.

(We) collectors are strange people

I can understand the appeal of low numbers, like number 1 :D or even 1000 of 1000 but not overnumbered, especially as the number suggests there were 000's of overnumbers out there :?:

I tried to buy some of the Palograssi singles last week and only managed to buy one since the prices were very high...

Last Magician - 36 pounds, (+/- 40 euros)
Victims of Circunstance - 20 pounds (+/- 22 euros)

I really wanted this Last Magician, but this prices is too high. :urff:
Manage to buy "Victims" though. :)
