GONG

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I saw Gong last night.

They were incredible. I urge anyone with the opportunity to see them to do so - Tour dates. Not many dates left.

Imagine Spiritualized jamming with White Hills and Ozrics with an insane 70 year old fella leaping around and a Granny making whale noises. That's them.

And the light show was the best I've ever seen at a gig. better than Fruit Salad, who used to do Ozrics.

I can vouch for their live greatness :notworthy: The light show was a bit so-so when I saw them though, it mostly was focussed on a teapot floating about on the projector screen IIRC

Go see them people, you will not regret 8)
