Hard Candy

Maybe I'll dye my hair
Maybe I'll move somewhere
Maybe I'll get a car
Maybe I'll drive so far
They'll all lose track
Me, I'll bounce right back
Maybe I'll sleep real late
Maybe I'll lose some weight
Maybe I'll clear my junk
Maybe I'll just get drunk on apple wine
Me, I'll be just....
Fine and dandy
Lord, it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I wont let
Sorrow bring me down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord, it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I wont let
Sorrow get me down
And maybe I'll learn to sew (my....)
Maybe I'll just lie low
Maybe I'll hit the bars
Maybe I'll count the stars until dawn
Me, I will go on

Preferred 'far parade'

Far Parade isn't quite as festive.
Nice hat though.

dammit, that's infectious
shame it's not a new sisters song. i could just hear von's voice singing the lines:
"Maybe I'll hit the bars
Maybe I'll count the stars until dawn"

... good heavens, what a horror ... I'd rather get outside for a run or a swim,
go to find the next sauna, do some painting, some Tai Chi, grip my guitar or ... whatever ...
...
Funny, today my doctor gave me a bag of Trefin's Medley Mix ... great selection of caramels and toffees
(not so many of the latter, fortunately) ... and, hell, I really look forward now to the prescribed chiropractic
treatment of my poor back for the rest of the year ... nothing compares ...
... can't deny, she made me happy ...
or to say it in short, I prefer
Killed By Death ...

Not with punctuation like that.

I think you mean grammar but "the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe" anyway it wasn't aimed at you 'Oh Clouded in Smoke' one

It's the excessive
punctuation that troubles
me.... I find it difficult...
to follow ... the conversation
...when it's done...
like that.

Although I'll forgive him/her for
Killed By Death - even if they wouldn't know a pop classic if it ran over them in a pink Citroën Deux Chevaux
