a bit like "Ring"

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

might have know you'd like the name! :D :D :D

hmmm....
A Flexplay enabled DVD is similar to a conventional DVD, except that it has a pre-set viewing window that begins only after the disc is removed from its packaging. During this viewing window, the Flexplay DVD plays like a standard DVD, and offers the same great picture and sound that consumers expect from their DVDs. After this viewing window the disc will no longer be readable by the DVD player and can then be recycled. A Flexplay enabled DVD works in all players, DVD drives and gaming systems designed to accept a standard DVD.
"can be recycled"?

s**t - thats PR-speak to hide that fact that we have created yet another disposable, non-biodegradable, product with the halflife of plutonium.

who is going to take these bloody things back? we're far too f*cking lazy a species to actually take dead discs back!

and will they retail outlets take the expired ones back? will they f*ck.

yet another item to consign to the ever-growing landfill site that is our planet.

what a complete waste of the earth's resources...
