Do we want Shot Rev 2.0 on DVD?

Hi,
Warner Archives sells old movies on DVD-R burnt on request. These are not remastered but still quality is alot better than the transfers hobbyists can do.
Apparently some of the decisions of what films to release are based on requests, and there are already some music movies in there.
Would you pay for a DVD-R or a download copy of Shot 2? I would.
So... let's make this a request thread.
Ps. I'm not really sure this is the same Warner as the Warner that released Shot. I guess there's lots of divisions etc...
Ps2. Too bad Wake wasn't released by Warner.

I thought there was a weed for this, but I can't track it down. I've got a DVD of Wake and Shot 2.0 (on the same disk) - happy to weed it if there's demand.

i think we decided we shouldnt do that as it's official material (even if it's no longer available)
sadly

I recall this conversation, and thought that the conclusion was that because neither of them had even been released on deeveedee then it constituted a sort of fair-weed thing. No problem, though, if not.

The quality on this one should be better. My own semiprofessional transfers can't match the quality of these, no matter the amount of money I've put into my equipment.
There is a laserdisc tranfer of Wake that is very good, but these guys has the original to transfer from. There is a LD transfer of Shot aswell, but I haven't been able to get my hands on it.

Sounds like a good idea. How does one make a request?

Not sure yet, thought I'd check if anyone but me is interested first.

After a quick search i only came up with this
http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform ... jNhUUE6MA.
It would seem from this it's not possible. You can only get really old stuff, pre 1968, and only sheet music

Your find looks far more promising. There's a wishlist link at the top of the page but you have to have an account to use it. Maybe if we all join and use it then our 'Wish' might come true

although weeding/sharing of official product isn't allowed on here, we all know thate dvd versions of the vhs/laser disc are easily procured through the fan community in general, and i do have such a copy myself. however i'd love to be able to buy both shot and wake in official dvd formats with proper packaging etc.
and ALL of the tracks from the bod and soul 12" available officially. oh well...

Unfortunately most factory pressed DVDs doesnt really contain the best video transfers in terms of audio/video quality.
