JT Dropped

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Whilst I agree that in terms of his position as a "role model" Terry should have lost the captaincy, I think this quote is worth thinking about:
Alan Williams (Tottenham Hotspur fan) wrote:i agree with Dave Wardrop. john terry has not done anything wrong on the pitch!!. so why is his private life deciding whether he is captain or not, that would me i would need to be demoted in work if i committed the same thing. his private life is his own business not anyone elses.
Tricky one...

He seems a rather sleazy individual, representing your country internationally should perhaps be the priviledge of someone more deserving. It's not like he's that good a player anyway.

On a football note though, I'm reading about the Glazers/United saga with disbelief. Is it really possible to buy up a company with entirely borrowed money then saddle the company with your debt repayments whilst you charge said company a wage for your services?

Mohammed Fayed did it to Harrods (and Fulham) so I don't see why the Glazers are any more surprising ;)

Would you want to work for a boss who takes what he wants with no care or regard of ownership ( not specifically meaning girlfriend/wife is a thing to be own, just making an analogy)? Would you respect a boss who knowingly pokes fun at someone's distress? Would you be able to follow him through hell and high water knowing that he just might shaft you?

Personally, I'd find it difficult to give my best for someone who I could not trust or respect.

Quite plausible ... and it doesn't change much whether your boss it made
your colleague now for these reasons ... the team as was (if it was) is
gone for the time being ...

They are two large options when you post.
You have to be shedded, blind, or completely stupid to miss those.
Surely.

or??

You surely did, doesn't matter, can happen to everybody ... ...

But joking aside, what's the matter? Has it been such an affront that I didn't like these adverts for the Cure meetings?
