The Eden House - The Captain's Rest

What I believe is commonly referred to as a top night out!
Set List:
God's Pride
All My Love
Trashed Treasure
Reach Out
Iron In The Soul
Fire For You
The Dark Half
Sin
Play Dead
To Believe In Something
A classic performance, even though Evi Vine was absent due to illness.
Remarkably tiny venue, though!
The Bjork cover is really becoming a classic.
Not quite a MacHeartlander, but enough of a showing all the same.
Hope you aren't suffering too much at work today.
My head, as they say in the vernacular, is loupin'!
Guinness and JD really isn't a wise combination
Oh, and a special mention to the venue for having a pizza called the Lux Interior.

I had a pizza called "Captain Blackbeard's Revenge". It was... rather spicy!
They also had one called "War Pigs" with Chorizo and "balsamic veg", of all things

What was the name of the pub we ended up in?
Memory does not serve so well.

Oran Mor. Gaelic/Gallic/Garlic for "p*ss-up", or so I'm told

Is that the one that's an old church? And the venue's underneath?

You mean - a ringstinger!
Sadly, each pizza on the menu had at least one disgusting ingredient that put me off ordering. Burger was OK thought - and the music not too bad either!

I am only willing to concede that drink had been taken on the grounds that
there was no sobbing into beer, attempts to start a fight, I left the pub of my own free will, no casual vomit or public urination took place, and I recall getting home.
That's almost sober in my book!

That's the place! It's really nice most of the time, but the trendies come out on a Friday night and transform it
