The classic Biccies interpretation of 'Time flies by when you're the driver of a train' on Back in the DHSS. Do songs about train drivers count? :innocent:

I think it's fair to say that's it's not only about trains. The Flying Scotsman isn't white.

Last train to transcentral - KLF

Sad news about the train crash in Belgium :urff:

I wondered about KLF, but then figured it's not train-specific so lacks geeky-points. 8)

Johnny Cash's "Hey Porter" - I thought it was about a bloke singing to his beer, but apparently not.

It's about a train that's going to Transcentral. What more does it need to qualify? ;D

Don't think any of us commute on that part of the railway so they probably all are :)

A colleague of mine wasn't so lucky though, pregnant with three months to go and broke her pelvis in the accident :urff: Luckily the kid appears to be okay.

Good God. Please convey all our sympathies and best wishes. I travel VERY frequently on trains, and can just about imagine how horrific it must be to crash in one...

For Mr Blast 'Freight Train Comin' - Metallica

Perhaps you could try 'Jumping someone else's train' The Cure

'Engine Driver' - The Decemberists

Casey Jones

Becareful you don't miss 'The Last Train to Clarkesville' The Monkees and if you do there's always the 'Midnight train to Georgia' Gladys Knight & The Pips
