I actually just remembered him trip over a speaker at a gig somewhere ages ago, can't recall where and when it was but it was very funny: at the very begining of the gig, the first opening song (can't recall which one it was then), he enters the stage emerges out of the smoke and wants to look very cool (this is how it seemed), takes a few steps forward, straight face and soooo self-assured, then one step too much, trips over and smiles, then turns around and laughs at himself. Can't tell where and when it was. Long time ago, and it was a good gig. :notworthy:

In my hometown, we had a band, quite popular 15 years ago, by the name of:

The Violent Fall Of Charles A. Lindbergh And His Spirit Of St. Louis

Anybody happen to know them  ?

...ok, far off topic, I'm off :innocent:

In the late 80's there was a goon that frequented Nottinghan Rock City who felt the need to dress like Uncle That Guitarist (I know...) down to the daft hat and dark sunglasses.Back then (and pretty much still now) the Rock City walls were black, the floor was black, and rather more importantly, the steps leading from the back of the hall down to the bar wre black. You can see where this is going.Mr Hussey's double,in his dark glasses didn't see the steps at all and plunged straight down to land flat on his face.We laughed like drains!

I wonder if you're talking about someone I knew.........Sounds like him from the above description.......Yes he was a Wayne look-alike big time.

Could well be Borris ?????????

You don't happen to know Adrian Hunt & Gobals from Kirkyby-in-Ashfield do you?
