You could go round to :von: 's house. Ask him how the album is getting on while you're there.

Return To THE BATCAVE
An evening of Classic Goth and 80's Alternative

Saturday, 27 March 2010
The Garage @ The Cockpit, Leeds
Leeds was the epicentre of the UK Goth movement in the early eighties, home to such seminal acts as Sisters of Mercy, March Violets and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.

For one night only The Garage @ The Cockpit presents Return To The Batcave as a celebration of goth and 80's alternative music featuring special guest DJ Claire Shearsby.

Claire was the resident DJ at Le Phonographique, the number one goth club in Leeds during the 80's as well as sound engineer for Ghost Dance, Salvation and later Patrica Morrison.

Expect to hear:

Souxsie And The Banshees / X-Mal Deutschland / Bauhaus / Killing Joke / The Birthday Party / Gun Club / Sex Gang Children / Play Dead / Sisters Of Mercy / Alien Sex Fiend / Specimen / Gene Loves Jezebel / The m*****n / Salvation / Ghost Dance / Southern Death Cult / The Cramps / The Bolshoi
the one thing it doesn't say about "special guest DJ Claire Shearsby" is that, yes, it's THAT claire. as in:

Salvation's singer.

He lives in the same street as me, and now (among other things) does 1950s DJing at Leeds's premier burlesque night, The Wet Spot.

7. Johnnie Thunders' Crack House when he came to the UK!

Surely a Myth. Next you will be telling us that him and DeeDee used to hang out at 'The Dutchess of York'.
