guardian readers in the government?¿?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

does von have the ear of the government these days?¿?:

"Perhaps it's the approach of midsummer, but the government is showing signs of, not necessarily madness, but muddle. The constitutional kerfuffle produced by last week's reshuffle shows no sign of going away. The speaker of the House of Commons has requested that the prime minister gives a statement in the House to try to clear things up on Wednesday. Today it was the turn of the deputy prime minister to announce more constitutional change. There's to be referenda for regional assemblies in the northern half of England, but the consultation process that led to today's announcement was derided by the Tories - 8000 replies to the government's call for comment."

the peoples republic indeedy!!!
