29/06/2010 Gillette The Best A Man Can Get ( Poll)

Being myself a long time user of Gillette Mach 3 razor I decided to start this poll. People, what do you prefer? Razors or Electric shavers? What shaving gels, foams, etc do you prefer? I think this topic/poll is not serious enough so I've posted it here as a joke. Girls are welcome too!
PS My favorite before/after shave at the moment is Italian CLIVEN. It's quite cheap over here.

Before long we'll be shaving with something that looks like a friggin cheese-grater.
Seriously though, until recently I used a Gillette Contour Plus that I'd owned since I started shaving. Then someone came door-to-door a couple of months ago offering a "free Gillette Fusion in exchange for your old razor" so I swapped. The blades are that bloody expensive I half wish I hadn't, although I tend to cut myself an awful lot less with it.
(I also have a cheap electric for when I can't be bothered with a wet shave, but it's not very good.)
As for lotions and potions, whatever shaving gel or foam is cheapest, and whatever aftershave I have kicking around. Although I'm getting to quite like a Blue Water aftershave lotion I've found (from some sort of gift set probably) that has some sort of minty stuff in it; it calls itself "cooling balm" and it's a lot nicer on the face than alcohol-based aftershaves.
All that being said, I'm a lazy bastard, and I only tend to shave twice a week at most.

I have the same problem as Mark - but I norrmally shave every couple of weeks.
King of Shaves razor is a very nice close shave - And their Menthol gel also very nice.
I've also been using The Real Shaving Company's self-heating pre-shave cream. Great stuff too.
I would be interested to hear Andrew S's preferences.

I haven't shaved in a month. Right now it's a cross between Jesus and Charles Manson.
But when I do it's normally an electric, or for a wet shave I prefer simple one-blade disposables.

On the odd occasion that I leave off shaving for a month, the best I can hope for is looking something like Shaggy out of Sccoby Doo.

I hate shaving, I hate paying a fortune for the privelage.

There were more than a handful of patrons shouting and cursing at the endlessly controversial, occasionally coherent 45-year-old rock trainwreck. Many more simply headed for the exits
