Northern Lights visible from Bristol to Scotland tonight

The recent explosions on the sun that sent a ‘solar tsunami’ of superhot plasma into the Earth’s magnetic field could produce spectacular Northern Lights as far south as Bristol tonight.

Saw it here in Belgium night before yesternight, a dark crimson glow, very cool!

cool--I got a big f**k off telescope for my 40th earlier this year from the missus-so hopefully if it is a clear night,I can set it up in the back garden, get some beer and some sounds and watch the night sky

Overcast here. Saw a superb display in Scotland in 1989.

Unless all the northern lights were black----there was nothing up here

Nothing in Leamington Spa. Clear sky. Just the distant hum of...We forgive as we forget somewhere in the ether.

And it's meteor shower week next week
